Roasted Chickpeas In An Air Fryer

Hi everyone, I’m Kelly and today I’m
going to be making roasted chickpeas in the air fryer. First thing I did was take
a can of chickpeas, garbanzo beans this is a 15 ounce can. I drained and rinsed
them and laid them all out flat on a paper towel. They’ve been here for a
couple hours, they’re dry now. So we can go ahead and get started, after I take
another drink. Okay the first thing I’m going to do here is a drizzle the
chickpeas a little bit with olive oil What I’m going to be using today I’m
going to be using a chili powder it’s a hot Mexican style.
Again, you can use whatever you want. Then I’m going to add a little bit of garlic
powder.I’m going to put a little bit more chili powder in there, and salt. I’m going to gently stir these. I’m going to add a little bit more
olive oil. Okay I think these are good. We can go get them ready for the air fryer.
Okay I got the chickpeas in the air fryer basket. I’m gonna start off with 15 minutes I’m
gonna check them about 5 or 8 minutes in to see how they’re doing.15 minutes at 350. They have been going for 6 minutes. I’m going to give the a little shake. Put them back in for the remaining time. It took 18 minutes in the air fryer and they
are done. They’re absolutely yummy and crunchy. If you all are looking for a
healthy snack or just a good snack for that matter, give this a try. Thank you
all for watching and I will see you soon.

  1. Hey Kelly, question, if someone wanted to make the air fried chicken, along with the air fried roasted chickpeas, would they be able to cook both at the same time, by just adding the chickpeas during the chicken cooking time?

  3. Kelly, enjoyed your video. Tip: instead of stirring with a spatula, toss peas, oil & spices in a large bowl. Makes distribution better. I'm going to make some with Lawry's Carne Asada spice.

  4. This is a cool idea – had no idea you could do this with an air fryer.

  5. Itโ€™s comforting to see the Corelle Cornflower pattern. I have so many beautiful pieces.

  6. I hate beans, but I love garbanzo beans, go figure…lol

  7. Hi Kelly I tried this the other day but my beans or still soft on the inside after cooking did I just not let them drive long enough?

  8. Thanks, we'll give it a go again

  9. No need to dry it. The air fryer will do the drying for u. Works fine without drying process for me.
