Apple Cinnamon Pie


Hello and welcome back to my kitchen today we are going to make Apple Cinnamon Pie and here are the following ingredients For our first step, take the flour and add the butter I forgot to say that we need to add about 1/4 teaspoon of salt to our flour so just add it now then we’ll just take 2 forks and mix until we make a crumby texture when the flour and butter are this crumbly we can then add the water about 5 – 6 tablespoons then using our hands we’ll mix this make sure that your hands are clean There our dough is now complete we’ll just shape it into a ball and then cover it with cling film and put it in the fridge for about 30 minutes Then we’ll proceed to our next step Our next step let’s take the apples and put them in a pan and just add the brown sugar we’ll now just cook this brown sugar we’ll just wait for it to caramelize when it starts to get watery we can then add the cinnamon then just mix it make sure the cinnamon is evenly distributed the apple will soften quickly anyway you can also add or take away more sugar depending on your taste whether it’s too sweet or lacking in sweetness just measure it accordingly For me, 1/2 cup of sugar is sweet enough There the syrup has dried and the apples are soft This is now done and we can switch off the heat and let it cool completely Our next step, let’s just prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper and spray some oil so it doesn’t stick we can also preheat the oven at 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit For the next step let’s just sprinkle some flour onto our clean worktop and then take our dough and just flatten it we’ll be using a rolling pin Once our dough has thinned about this thin we will then take our template you can also use this a Tupperware lid or you can make one using cardboard we will be using a square shape i’m just using a pizza cutter to cut the dough just continue this step until all of our dough is used Our next step take one of the dough we cut and put it on a plate so we can now add the fillings the fillings we cooked earlier the amount of fillings depends on how much you want to use then just fold it so it’s covered then using a fork just crease the sides just press down so that it seals once you sealed all the sides we can transfer it to our baking tray just continue until all the pies are made here we have made 6 pies we’ll now just gently cut the top so that the air can escape three cuts is fine then after that, take our eggs and brush it on top just beat the eggs first and then brush it on top so that it looks shiny There it’s now ready This is now ready for baking we’ll bake this for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven that we preheated earlier at 175 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit we’ll just wait for the top of the pies to turn brown after 15 minutes in the oven here it is our apple cinnamon pie is now cooked so I hope you enjoyed this recipe and you share it with your friends Until the video, I’ll see you all soon Thank you and goodbye!
