Welcome to Homemaker360 In todays video we will be preparing healthy Thuthuvalai Rasam (BOTANICAL NAME: SOLANUM TRILOBATUM) Thuthuvalai leaf has many health benefits it helps to cure cold, cough and its very rich in antioxidants This is Thuthuvalai (BOTANICAL NAME: SOLANUM TRILOBATUM) plant i have in my garden leaf , stem and flowers all have medical values This plant have thorn all over the plant and under the leaf as well so we should be very careful while collecting the leafs In a pan add 1 spoon oil Add small amount of mustard and methai seeds Add 2 green chilly crushed garlic 10 pcs Add 50 gms of small onion and some curry leaves Add 2 to 3 sliced tomato After 5 mins Add 1/2 spoon red chilly powder and 1/4 spoon turmeric powder Add Salt as required cook for 2 mins Use lemon sized tamarind and soak it in water for some time and then add the tamarind water Add water required for the rasam Let it boil Meantime coarse grind the Thuthuvalai leafs along with 2 spoon black pepper corn,2 spoon cumin seeds Coarse grind without adding water Add the leaf paste into the rasam cook for 2 mins Add very small amount of asofotida powder Add 1 spoon of Jaggery Add fresh Coriander leafs Tasty Thuthuvalai Rasam is Ready Please subscribe for more interesting videos Thanks for Watching
